Social Bowls - Visitors Welcome |
Most Social Bowls competitions are held in the
Autumn and Winter months on the "Harold Huxley" green. This is our synthetic surfaced green.
Many teams are mixed men and ladies and include players of all skill levels, from the Club champions to novices.
Autumn Triples and Winter Fours are team competitions held each Saturday for a fixed number of weeks. Registration of teams is
required prior to the start of competition as places are limited to 16 teams.
A less formal
competition is held on Wednesdays when teams of four are formed from week to week.
Thursday Social Bowls
are held in the Autumn and Winter and is specifically designed to introduce less experienced players to the game. Coaching
is available.
Social games are held each Sunday during Autumn/Winter, games are informal with no set roster
in pairs, triples or fours.
Check the Notice Board or the News page for more details, updates
and start times for these events. |
